NHS League Tables to be introduced to ‘zero tolerance for failure’ policy under new NHS reforms
A set of new budgetary reforms have been announced with a strict policy for ‘zero tolerance for failure’ to help tackle the NHS crisis that is delaying the delivery of effective care to patients in Britain. Among the policy makers Wes Streeting, Health and Social Care Secretary, has announced that the set of new reforms will focus on improving the NHS through plans to provide the financial investment that they need to rebuild their services, ensuring that they can deliver care that is immediate and efficient. There will be a focus on ensuring that financial investments are solely used on improvements and that there will be ‘no more rewards for failure’, with an aspiration of cutting ‘18 month waiting times to 18 weeks’ instead.
